Send a link to a friend Tuesday afternoon, fourth-grade students from Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln paid a visit to
St. Clara's Manor. They were there to spend some
time visiting with the residents and to color Easter eggs,
something that everyone enjoyed. St. Clara's activity director
Penny Tipton said the kids came last year and spent some time
coloring eggs with the seniors. The residents enjoyed the time
so much, that this year she asked if they would come back, and
they were happy to do so. The children and the residents
all benefit from having a special activity together. It helps
children connect with an older generation, and for the seniors, it
gives them a refreshing new experience and a chance to laugh and
			have fun with kids.
