[April 09, 2014]  (The Sports Xchange) — The Jacksonville Jaguars will host top quarterback prospects Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater, UCF's Blake Bortles, Fresno State's Derek Carr and Eastern Illinois' Jimmy Garoppolo this week, according the multiple reports Tuesday.

Manziel is scheduled to fly to Jacksonville on Tuesday and will visit with the Jaguars on Wednesday, along with the four other quarterbacks, according ESPN.com.

Representatives from the NFL Players Association met with league officials and club personnel on Tuesday with talks geared toward improving the workplace environment in the NFL.

The three-hour meeting focused exclusively on that topic, which became a necessary focus after a league investigation into the Miami Dolphins over locker room culture.

Washington Redskins defensive end Brandon Moore was suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2014 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, the league announced Tuesday.

Moore is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick's past compelled a group at Change.org to start a petition to prevent him from attending training camp at SUNY Cortland.

"If we welcome Vick onto our campus, we are complicit in his crimes," the petition reads. "We are sending the message that, for money and publicity, we will turn a blind eye to the horrors of dogfighting."

Vick pleaded guilty to a federal dogfighting conspiracy charge in 2007 and served 19 months in prison.

The Buffalo Bills added some depth on the defensive line by agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with free agent Jarius Wynn, the team announced Tuesday.

Wynn, 27, played in 15 games (five with San Diego and 10 with Dallas) during the 2013 season and had 11 tackles and 2.0 sacks.

Second-year quarterback Mike Glennon plans to push veteran Josh McCown for the starting job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014.

Glennon started 13 games as a rookie and had 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions after replacing Josh Freeman atop the Tampa Bay depth chart.

The Atlanta Falcons signed safety Dwight Lowery and cornerback Josh Wilson, the team announced Tuesday.

Lowery (5-foot-11, 212 pounds) was originally selected by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Wilson (5-9, 188) was originally selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday re-signed wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, whom the club had tendered as a restricted free agent for 2014.

Sanzenbacher stood to make $1.4 million under the terms of the team's tender, but terms of the deal weren't announced.

Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson put on a show the Nittany Lions pro day Tuesday.

Robinson, the No. 34 overall prospect in the NFLDraftScout.com rankings and seventh-ranked receiver, showed Tuesday much-improved burst and the kind of explosiveness some scouts expected at what proved to be a marginal workout at the Scouting Combine.

The Minnesota Vikings signed former Houston Texans wide receiver Lestar Jean, the team announced Tuesday.

Jean has appeared in 27 games, making one start, over the past two seasons after spending his rookie season in 2011 on injured reserve.

The Houston Texans signed unrestricted free agent running back Andre Brown to a one-year contract, the team announced.

Brown (6-foot-0, 227 pounds) has started 10 of 22 games in his five seasons in the NFL with 18 of those coming the past two seasons with the New York Giants.
