[April 15, 2014]  HARTSBURG — The music program at Hartsburg-Emden Jr.-Sr. High School will host a Fine Arts Festival featuring the artistic gifts of its talented fine arts students. The event will be on May 2 at 7 p.m. in the Hartsburg-Emden High School gymnasium.

Under the direction of Mr. Cody Sheldon and Mrs. Rachel Jordan, the evening's festivities will include Hartem's fifth- to 12th-grade instrumentalists and choral singers, with group sizes ranging from solo performances to full ensemble performances. In addition, there will be other exciting fine arts presentations to be revealed at the concert.

Snack food and beverages will be provided. There will be bleacher seating as well as table seating on the floor, with parents of performers receiving preferential seating. Otherwise, seating will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There is no fee or ticket charge with the evening's performance; however, a $5 donation per person or $15 per family is suggested to help the fine arts department at Hartem continue to flourish in ways that can empower and inspire the students.
