In the individual classroom setting workshops, Jennifer Kirby of Heartland Community College presented "Preparing for Your Passion." A portion of her talk focused on building a professional network through social media.

The final workshop was conducted by Michelle Bauer of Lincoln College. She talked about preparing for college and being a successful student through courtesy and caring. She presented a discussion on the Lincoln College Civility Campaign and discussed with the group what is expected of a courteous, respectful student at the college.

Prior to their lunch break, students had an opportunity to visit with a number of local businesses that had tables set up with information about their businesses and careers. The Workforce Expo is not a job fair. It is an opportunity for young people to see the vast amount of potential for a successful career in Logan County and to have an opportunity to talk with local entrepreneurs who have taken their passions and dreams and turned them into successful businesses.
