Logan County Board of Realtors first-quarter sales report

[April 25, 2014]  The first quarter of 2014 saw slightly increased home sales in Logan County compared with the first quarter of 2013.

Realtors in the Logan County Board of Realtors sold 73 homes in the first quarter of 2014, four more than the 69 sold during the same period in 2013.

The average selling price for homes in the first quarter of 2014 was $91,415, a little up from the $91,389 in that period in 2013. Median prices were up a little as well: $68,100 compared with 68,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market also saw improvement, with the average "days on market" being 182 in 2014. This was 51 days quicker than in the same time period in 2013.
