[August 04, 2014]  LINCOLN - Habitat for Humanity Logan County board members and volunteers will be working at Culver’s, 2530 Woodlawn Road, on Monday, August 4th from 5 p.m. to 8 p..m. Habitat for Humanity Logan County will receive 10% of the food sales during those hours. So come out and enjoy some good food while supporting a good cause.

Habitat for Humanity’s goal is to provide decent and affordable housing to those unable to secure it through more traditional means. Nearly one-quarter of the world’s population, including 10 million Americans lack adequate housing. Habitat for Humanity Logan County recently completed its 18th home in December of 2013.

Habitat for Humanity Logan County is currently seeking applicants for homes 19 and 20. Applications will be available during the hours of the Culver’s fundraiser or interested parties can contact Habitat for Humanity Logan County by visiting their website at www.habitatlogan.org  or calling 732-6412. Habitat for Humanity Logan County is not only building homes and lives, but a sense of community as well.
