[August 12, 2014]  Aug 11 (The Sports Xchange) - Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer, who started against the Detroit Lions Saturday, practiced with the first team offense Monday.

"Nothing's changed," coach Mike Pettine said." If there was a significant change on the depth chart, it would be reflected on the field."

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who was carted off the field the day before following a hard fall on his back, returned to practice.

Hall was able to participate in a limited capacity.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones broke his foot in practice and will miss a few weeks, coach Marvin Lewis told reporters.

Lewis said Jones was injured at Saturday's practice. Jones had a pin placed in his left foot -- specifically in the fifth metatarsal bone.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is under investigation over an alleged assault and personal property damage claim, police in Bellevue, Wash., said.

The Bellevue Police Department said in a release that the 28-year-old Lynch was accused by an unspecified female victim over an alleged incident at a downtown Bellevue apartment unit at 2:30 a.m. PT Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier, the team's first-round draft pick, expects to play in his first exhibition game Saturday night.

The Steelers host the Buffalo Bills.

New England Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms is facing a four-game suspension after testing positive for a banned substance, according to CSNNE.com.

The NFL does not reveal the substance, but Tyms said it was Adderall.

The Miami Dolphins are working out free-agent quarterbacks Rex Grossman, John Skelton and Brady Quinn on Monday, according to NFL.com.

Matt Moore (shoulder) and Pat Devlin (hamstring) returned to practice from injuries on Sunday, but the Miami Herald reported that the team is not comfortable with the backup quarterback situation behind starter Ryan Tannehill.

The Indianapolis Colts signed free agent defensive end Gannon Conway and waived tackle Eric Pike.

Conway, 6-foot-4, 280 pounds, is in his second stint with Indianapolis.

The Chicago Bears signed offensive lineman Rob Turner. The 6-foot-4, 308-pound Turner played for the Tennessee Titans last season, starting the first six games at center before landing on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. In 2012, Turner started all 16 games for the St. Louis Rams, seeing time at center and left guard.

Philadelphia Eagles backup center Julian Vandervelde underwent back surgery recently and is expected to miss the start of the season.
