Obituary

Frances Marie Lynch, 76, of Jacksonville, IL., passed away August 14, 2014 at Symphony of Lincoln.

Cremation rites have been accorded and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.

Frances was born June 8, 1938 in McKeesport, PA., the daughter of Clarence W. Bernd and Bertha M. Zyskowski.

She was a member of Our Savior’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville. She was also a member of the MOOSE Lodge and the AMVETS of Jacksonville, IL. Frances enjoyed volunteering her time at the little mini mart at the Senior High Rise in Jacksonville. She retired from Prairie Council on Aging The Bread of Life in 2010 after several years of service.

Survivors include her children: James (Vicki Ann) Lynch of Springfield, IL., Pamela (Thomas) Morrow of Lincoln, IL., Renee (Mark) Brock of Section, AL., and Rebecca Drown of Tuas, OK; sisters Tina Pomnian and Janet (Cliff) Flegal of PA; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with one on the way also survive.

 

Funeral Directors

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial donations may be made to ST. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Heart Association in Frances’ name.

Frances will be missed by her family and many friends.

Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with her care.
