LINCOLN - Ruth E. Harmon, 67, of
Lincoln, formerly of Armington and Bloomington, passed away
yesterday, August 9, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11:00
a.m. at Oakview Cemetery in Armington.

Obituary Lincoln -- Ruth E. Harmon, 67, of
Lincoln, formerly of Bloomington and Armington, died
at 6:12 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Memorial
Medical Center.
Graveside services for Ms. Harmon will be held on
Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakview
Cemetery in Armington. Pastor John Horner will
officiate.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Ruth is survived by one sister-in-law, Madeline
Harmon of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews. She
is also survived by her beloved cat, Angel, whom she
cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two
brothers: Raymond Harmon and Paul Harmon. |
Ruth Ellen Harmon was born May 5, 1947, in Lincoln,
the daughter of Murl and Eva Garr Harmon.
Ruth retired from a Tropicana plant in Florida.
Ruth adored animals and memorials may be made to the
Logan County Humane Society in Lincoln.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home in Atlanta.
