[August 28, 2014]  LINCOLN - Geneva Ingram, 86, of Lincoln, passed away August 18, 2014 at The Christian Village.

Visitation: A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Service: Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Geneva Ingram, 86, of Lincoln, passed away August 18, 2014 at The Christian Village.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.

Geneva was born April 26, 1929 in Logan County, Illinois, the daughter of Obie Brockman and Jessie Mae Brockman. She grew up in Burtonview, Illinois and some in Kentucky. Geneva married Donald Dean Ingram. He preceded her in death.

She was employed at Lehn and Fink for 17 years. Geneva was a resident at The Christian Village for 2 years and enjoyed the activities there, especially bingo, trips, church services, arts and crafts, and helping the cafeteria staff set the table for meals.

Funeral Directors

Surviving are one son Mark Ingram of Lincoln, IL.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister Thelma Rehder of Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Genadean Ingram, her son Dennis "Boomer" Ingram, and several sibings.

Memorial donations may be made to the activities department at The Christian Village and will be accepted at the funeral home.
