[December 03, 2014]  MINIER - The “Christmas Memories Parade” starts at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6th. Come line Main St., Minier and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Of course, Santa will add his “Ho! Ho! Ho!” cheer to the parade and then greet children at the Minier Fire Station following the parade.

Also, following the parade is the Tree Lighting at Veterans’ Park; this large spruce tree will be decorated by the students of Olympia West Elementary.

The Christmas festivities on Dec. 6th start at 12 noon with the Vendor Shoppes at the Comet Lodge on Main St. Do some Christmas shopping and support local home businesses.

A new activity this year is a Cookie Decorating Contest for kids. Come to St. John’s Fellowship Hall between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. and create edible Christmas art. All materials are provided. Olympia Key Club members will assist the children.
