LINCOLN - Lincoln College’s Iota Chi
Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will host “Snacks with
Santa” from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Meyer-Evans
Student Center at Lincoln College. Children in Kindergarten through
5th grade are invited to join Iota Chi Chapter members making
Christmas-themed crafts and create their own snack mix. The cost for
each child participating is the donation of a new children’s book
which will be donated to the Lincoln Jaycee’s Angel Tree project.

When asked about the event, Iota Chi Chapter President Elizabeth
Herzog, a sophomore from Lincoln, explained, “Our honor society
wanted to create a fun event for the children of Lincoln, and help
them make memories they can keep.”
In addition to making crafts and having snacks, each child will have
their picture taken with Santa. 74K Photography of Lincoln will be
taking the photos, which will be posted on the 74K Photography
website for parents to download and print. Chris and Michelle
Hanson, owners of 74K Photography, have been long-time supporters of
Phi Theta Kappa’s charitable efforts. Chris noted, “We are excited
to provide photographic memories for “Snacks with Santa”
participants.”
