WLB splits pair on the road

[December 04, 2014]  LINCOLN - After taking a break for the Thanksgiving Holiday, the West Lincoln-Broadwell boys basketballs teams were back on the court Thursday night in Hartsburg.

The 7th and 8th grade teams split two with Hartsburg.

The 7th grade squad (10-0) took a 28-0 first quarter lead en route to a 47-6 win. Kaden Froebe scored 14 for the Wolverines in the win. Also getting into the scoring column for WLB; Dreyden Pozsgai (8), Kameron Whiteman (6), Joe Dalpoas (6), Patrick McCraith (6), Lucas Konczyk (5), and Payton Anderson (2).

In the nightcap, The 8th grade team (5-5) lost in overtime 33-30. Froebe scored another 14 while handing out a team-high seven assists. Shane Shumard scored 12 while grabbing six rebounds. Whiteman (2) and Kade Schmidt (2) also scored for WLB in the loss.

The Wolverines next play Monday, December 8th, in Springfield at Little Flower Catholic School.
