[December 08, 2014]  LINCOLN - Eva M. Lahr, 84, of Lincoln passed away at 6:50 p.m. December 4, 2014 at Christian Nursing Home, Lincoln.

Visitation: Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home

Service: 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Obituary

Eva M. Lahr, 84, of Lincoln passed away at 6:50 p.m. December 4, 2014 at Christian Nursing Home, Lincoln.

Eva was born January 24, 1930 in Armington, IL, the daughter of Warren and Mildred Bennett Robbins.

Eva is survived by her children: Bonnie (Henry) Hewitt of Tabor City, NC.; Terry (LaVerne) Landers of Longs, SC; Pam (George) Barker of Pekin; 21 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Neva Bridges (twin sister) of Lincoln, Anna Charron of Lincoln, Frances Vawter of Clinton, IA; Mary Wilson of Bethalto; Berta Cundiff of Virden; Eldora Martin of Mesa, AZ; David (Judy) Robbins of Hull; and Patsy (Lynn) Kindred of Myrtle Beach, S.C.. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Steven and Ronnie Landers; two brothers and seven sisters.

Eva was a CNA for ALMH and retired from Pekin. She had attended the Church of the Nazarene.

Eva’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with Greg Wooten and Ryan Edgecombe co-officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. an hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Safe Haven Hospice or the First Church of the Nazarene.
