Public hearing to be held Thursday evening in Mount Pulaski

[December 10, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI - The Logan County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting regarding requests for zoning for a wind farm by Meridien LLS on Thursday, December 11th.

The board will discuss the request from Meridien LLC for a Conditional Use Permit for construction and operation of a wind farm south and west of Mount Pulaski.

Included in the plans for said wind farm are 81 wind turbines, collector lines, sub-stations, transmission lines, access roads, meteorological towers and related appurtenances.

The hearing will be held in the Family Life Center of the Mount Pulaski Christian Church at 114 N. Lafayette Street in Mount Pulaski, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public, and all are invited to attend and be heard.

The petition, application, and plans are available for inspection in the Logan County Zoning Office, 529 S. McLean St., Lincoln.
