Notice to the elderly and persons with disabilities for the City Of Lincoln Ward 3 Republican Primary

[December 17, 2014]  LINCOLN - Citizens who cannot leave their home or nursing home because of permanent disability and are not registered to vote may arrange for voter registration by contacting the Office of the Logan County Clerk. Upon request, assistance can be obtained through the Clerk or deputy registrar. On-Line and Mail-in registration forms are available to all citizens of the State of Illinois on the County Clerk website: www.co.logan.il.us/county_clerk/ under Election Information. Registration forms may also be obtained at the resident’s nursing home.

Any qualified resident may register to vote at the Office of the Logan County Clerk located in Room 20 of the Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two forms of identification are required to register; one must display your current address. The last day to register to vote with a deputy registrar is January 27, 2015 (with the exception of grace period registration and transfer of registration beginning January 28 and ending February 24, 2015 in the Office of the Logan County Clerk).

The polling place for this election ONLY will be at the Logan County Courthouse, which is accessible to persons with all disabilities. Voting aids and assistance in marking the ballot are available if needed at the Office of the County Clerk.

If you are a registered voter and unable to vote in person on Election Day for the City of Lincoln Ward 3 Republican Primary, you may make application to vote by mail and will be processed by the office of the County Clerk beginning January 15, 2015.

us/county_clerk/  under Election Information, or through a request in person, by mail or telephone through the Office of the County Clerk.

The last day an Application to Vote may be received by mail, and the last day an Absentee Ballot may be mailed from the Office of the County Clerk for this Primary Election is February 19, 2015. Contact the Office of the County Clerk to receive further Absentee Vote by Mail information, or visit the Logan County Clerk website for up-to-date information and forms.
