[December 22, 2014]  DE Willie Young, who leads the Bears with 10 sacks, left the game with an Achilles injury in the third quarter and apparently is done for the year.

RB Matt Forte seemed a shoo-in for a 2,000-yard year rushing and receiving, but as things have gone South for the Bears, that seems less and less likely. With 55 rushing yards and 40 yards on six catches Sunday, Forte is at 1,772 with one game remaining. He has 987 yards rushing and 785 receiving.

QB Jimmy Clausen's first start in four years appeared to be good enough to earn him another shot next week when the Bears finish at Minnesota, but coach Marc Trestman, who seemed generally pleased with the performance, did not make it official. He said he would announce his starter early in the week, however. Last week, it was not before Wednesday that a decision leaked out.
