[December 22, 2014]  Dec 21 (The Sports Xchange) - Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson may have already worn out his welcome with his new team.

The Boston Globe reported the team is looking to trade Stephenson after signing him to a free agent deal in the offseason. He has reportedly clashed with teammates.

Stephenson is averaging just 10.9 points per game and shooting 38.6 percent as the Hornets have struggled to an 8-19 record. He has been limited by a groin injury since the preseason but has managed to average 6.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 25 games.

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks announced that forward Kevin Durant would not play Sunday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

This is the second straight game the reigning most valuable player has missed after spraining his right ankle Thursday in Golden State.

Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams sat out Sunday's game with the Detroit Pistons due to a strained right calf.

Williams missed his first game of the season after suffering the injury during the second quarter of Friday's 95-91 loss in Cleveland. Williams had an MRI that revealed a low grade calf strain.

Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari has a torn meniscus in his right knee but could return in three weeks, according to the Denver Post.

Gallinari has struggled with knee injuries in recent years. He tore an ACL at the end of the 2012-13 season in which he averaged 17.2 points per game. He missed all of last season after having surgery to fix complications from the injury.

The Miami Heat recalled guard Andre Dawkins from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League.
