This program is designed especially for children 3-5 years with
an adult chaperone. Participants will sing songs and make a craft
while learning how to make maple sirup and will listen to a sirup
story. Then, each child will get a turn at tree tapping and taste
the real thing. The majority of this program will be indoors, and in
the event of extremely cold temperatures, it will be adapted to be
completely inside.
Registration and adult chaperone are required. The fee is $5 for
child members of the nature center and $8 for nonmembers.
For more information or to register for one of these Little
Tappers sessions, phone 309-874-2174 or email
