AIR COMPRESSORS 

MAT Industries is recalling HDX™ and Powermate® two-gallon air compressors sold nationwide and in Canada from June 2010 to October 2013. The terminals of the pressure switch can come into contact with the motor housing and electrify the air compressors, posing a shock hazard. 

This recall involves HDX™ and Powermate® brand two-gallon electric air compressors.   HDX™ model number/sku numbers include VSP0000201.HDX, VSP0000201.HDX1 and 947282, with numeric serial numbers. The model and serial numbers are printed on a sticker on the back of the top air compressor cylinder. Powermate® model numbers include VSP0000201, VSP0000201.01, VSP0000201.KIT and VSP0000201.NS with numeric serial numbers.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE KITS    

Visonic is recalling Visonic Amber SelectX Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) Kits  sold nationwide and in Canada from April 2012 to April 2013. Following a reboot or system reset, the Amber SelectX Base Stations can fail to operate and detect an emergency signal from the personal pendant. 

The recalled Visonic Amber SelectX Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) kit enables a user to push a button on a pendant to signal a request for assistance. Recalled models have catalog number 0-100729 and serial numbers 1612002383 through 501206949. The first four digits represent manufacture dates April 2012 through December 2012 in WWYY format. 

Consumers should immediately contact their system installer or a Visonic alarm installation professional to replace the recalled base station.
