[February 18, 2014]  The Young Professionals Network of Logan County will host a craft beer tasting on Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The fundraising event will be at Guzzardo's Italian Villa in Lincoln.

Guests at this event can expect to sample craft beer from local breweries, delicious pizza, have a chance to win great prizes and learn about the beer brewing process. This will also be a great event for networking and meeting new people.

Guests 21 years of age or older are invited to attend. Only 50 reservations are available.

The funds from this event will allow the Young Professionals Network to coordinate community service projects and other free community events in the coming months. One of these events will be in March, when YPN will team up with Castle Manor and the Oasis Senior Center to offer a social media training session to give residents of Castle Manor the tools to connect with friends, family and their community on the Web.

The craft brew tasting is made possible in part by the sponsorships of Anytime Fitness, Grimaldi Law Office, Harris-Hodnett Insurance Agency, Edward Jones — Sal Pollice, and Guzzardo's Italian Villa.
