[February 19, 2014]  Working toward improving the community, members of the We Are Lincoln group will meet in the Steinfort Room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at 7 p.m. Thursday. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend.

We Are Lincoln is a grass-roots movement of local citizens who want to make Lincoln the best it can be. Previously, We Are Lincoln has had brainstorming sessions where residents discussed ideas for how to improve the quality of life in town. The projects currently moving forward are the possibility of a dog park in Lincoln, the development of a website with centralized information for the community and the development of self-improvement opportunities for struggling individuals. The intent of the next meeting is to discuss progress on these topics and identify other projects that could be pursued. New ideas are welcomed and encouraged. Lincoln-area residents are invited to come and formulate ways to improve our community.

We Are Lincoln is an open group that works as a catalyst for projects improving the lives of Lincoln residents. Residents collaborate on the changes they desire to see in their community. We are Lincoln is a forum where concerned citizens can meet to discuss ideas, formulate strategies and implement action plans. Residents have an opportunity to work together in order to improve the quality of life in Lincoln.
