Dr. Wittler said Sunday that she was really excited and appreciative of the great things that are going on in the FFA at LCHS.  She noted that last year she had 50 members in her FFA program. This year that number has grown to 76. In addition, all of her ag classes are full this year.

She said another great development is the formation of the new FFA Alumni chapter. She said having the help and support of FFA alumni in the youth program is invaluable. She said there are many things the alumni get involved with, and said one really important one is their role as chaperones when young students go to meetings and conventions.

Wittler said she sees great things coming for the local FFA, FFA Alumni and agriculture.
