MAROA — Randall E. Funk, 61, of Maroa,
died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.

Maroa- Randall E. Funk, 61, of Maroa passed away on
Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Decatur Memorial
Hospital in Decatur.
Funeral Services for Mr. Funk will be held on
Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Roy
officiating.
No Visitation is scheduled.
Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Randall Eugene Funk was born on October 8, 1952 in
Lincoln the son of Kenneth E. and Hazel French Funk.
He married Nikki Gelsthorpe on November 13, 1971 at
the Atlanta United Methodist Church. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother: Hazel Jones of
Atlanta, two daughters: Jamie Lynn (Bobby) Russell
of Weldon, Tywana (Chad Baker) Durbin of Niantic,
step daughter: Tina Barr of Leroy. Four
grandchildren, one step grandson, one great
grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Randall served in the United States Army.
He was a truck driver for H & M Trucking of Clinton.
