Crusaders take two over Mount Pulaski

[January 11, 2014]  Carroll Catholic-New Holland-Zion Lutheran hosted Mount Pulaski on Thursday.

The Crusaders won the seventh-grade contest 52-35. They were led in scoring by Brayton Brown with 18 points and Dylan Singleton with 15. Mount Pulaski was led by Tanner Farris with 13 points. The win moves the seventh-grade Crusaders to 13-4 on the season.

The Crusaders won the eighth-grade game 47-42. They were led by Brayton Brown with 15 second-half points and Cole Klockenga with 14. Mount Pulaski's leading scorers were Seth Huff with 12, Dixon Aylesworth with 11 and Payton Taylor with 10.

The Crusaders will play their next games Tuesday at Carroll Catholic against St. Patrick's of Decatur, with the seventh-graders starting at 6 p.m. and the eighth-grade game following.
