Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[January 11, 2014]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Friday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 19 to 21 cents higher.

Soybean bids were 5 to 6 cents higher.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 19 to 20 cents higher.

Soybean bids were 2 to 6 cents higher.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 20 to 21 cents higher.

Soybean bids were mixed. Wheat bids were 15 to 25 cents lower.
