Lincoln Heat 11U take two on Sunday

[June 30, 2014]   LINCOLN - Lincoln won both games against the T.C. Slammers on Sunday with scores of 16-4 and 21-5.

Justin Long started game one throwing 4 solid innings giving up no runs on 3 hits.

Devyn Snow relieved throwing 2 innings giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and Karson Bonaparte closed giving up 1 run on 1 hit with 2 strikeouts.

Luke Luster led the team in game one going 3 for 4 with a double, 2 base hits and 4 rbi’s.

Long had 2 doubles on the day a base hit and an rbi.

In game 2 Dylan Singleton got the win throwing 4 innings giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits with 2 strikeouts.

Landon Hullinger relieved throwing one inning allowing one hit and no runs.

Luke Luster led the way again with a double, a base hit and 5 rbi’s.

Karson Bonaparte had 2 doubles a base hit and 4 rbi’s.

On the day, Kyle Fry and Patrick Mcraith had 3 rbi’s a piece. Lucas Konczyk had 2 rbi’s and Keagan Ferguson had 1 rbi on 3 base hits. The Heat are now 22-8.
