Storms and heavy rain that passed through the Lincoln area early Tuesday morning caused considerable tree damage in the south part of town.

As daylight arrived, the Angel Valley region, which is in the vicinity of Wyatt Avenue and south, was a maze of fallen trees and broken power poles.
