Obituary
Voanna J. “Peggy” Conner, 74, of Lincoln
passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 06, 2014,
at The Christian Village.
Peggy was born on June 9, 1940, in
Tompkinsville, KY, daughter of Lloyd and Pernie
Walker Hagen. She was united in marriage to Robert
E. Conner on June 9, 1971 in Lincoln, IL. He
survives her in Lincoln. Other survivors include
her children: Sharon (Alan) Olson of Quincy, IL;
Karen Gearlds of Eldorado, TZ; Kevin Gearlds of
Lubbock, TX; Tera Conner of Decatur, IL; nine
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents, sons: Paul and
Mike Gearlds; and her sister, Mary Garner. |
Peggy’s wishes were
to be cremated. Voanna will be buried next to her
parents in Kentucky. Memorials may be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of her
arrangements.
