[July 14, 2014]  LINCOLN - A fundraiser at Culver’s from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 20 will be used to fund students supply needs at Lincoln Junior High School. Culver’s will give 10 percent of their receipts from food sales to the St. John’s United Church of Christ school supply fund.

Throughout the school year, as students need pencils, erasers, paper, note cards, Kleenex, etc., more often than not the teachers supply those needs from their own pockets. (This is not just the Junior High teachers or the Lincoln teachers – it is a fact everywhere).

The Outreach Ministry of St. John United Church has adopted LJHS for this very cause and invites the public to join them in supplying their needs by dining at Culvers.

ST John will also happily accept donations of school supplies. The suggested list of ‘usual needs’ from the teaching staff is posted on St. John’s website: http://www.stjohnucclincolnillinois.com/
