Second Quarter homes sales report

[July 14, 2014]  LINCOLN - The Second quarter of 2014 (April 1 - June 30) saw increased home sales compared to 2013 for the same time period.

REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 113 homes in the first quarter of 2014, 6 more than the 107 sold during the same time period in 2013.

The average selling price for homes in the 2014 time period was $96,402, a up from the $89,572 in 2013. Median prices were up as well, $83,900 compared to $75,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market saw an increase with the average "Days on Market" in 2014 184 days. This was 19 days slower than the same time period in 2013.
