LINCOLN - Monthly meetings of the Logan
County EMA, Logan County Sheriff, Logan County Coroner, and Logan
County Ambulance committees were held on May 1st in the Blue Room of
the Logan County Safety Complex

LOGAN COUNTY EMA MEETING
Present: Rick Aylesworth, Bob Farmer, Keving Bateman, Gene
Rohlfs
Absent: none
Guests: Sheriff Steve Nichols; Steve Siltman; Terry Storer,
Bob Thomas
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve
the minutes from April 3, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.
Mr. Storer presented the April 2014 call report.
Grants/ Resolutions
Logan County Grant Agreements (Update): Mr. Storer reported
everything has been approved by the state.
Yearly Exercise Design Team (Update): Mr. Storer reported
everything is right on schedule.
Old Business: Nothing additional to report.
New Business
Possible Equipment Display for County Board Meeting: Mr.
Storer would like City of Lincoln and Logan County Board members to
set a date in the near future to come see the new equipment.
Mr. Storer gave a brief update on the Lighting Strike that happened
in April.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to pay the
bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to adjourn
the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:09 pm.
LOGAN COUNTY SHERIFFS MEETING
Present: Rick Aylesworth, Bob Farmer, Kevin Bateman, Gene
Rohlfs
Absent: None
Guests: Sheriff Steve Nichols; Steve Siltman; Terry Storer,
Bob Thomas
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:25 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer to approve
the minutes from April 3, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.
Old Business
Courthouse elevator: Sheriff Nichols reported the elevator at
the courthouse has been having some problems. They hope to get it
fixed in a timely manner.
New Business
HVAC: Mr. Bateman gave a brief update on the HVAC project.
Sheriff’s Report: Sheriff Nichols reported he has two
deputies that will be retiring here very soon. He has hired one new
deputy that will be starting here in the near future. Nothing
further to report.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to pay the
bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to adjourn
the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:38 pm.

LOGAN COUNTY CORONER MEETING
Present: Rick Aylesworth, Bob Farmer, Kevin Bateman, Gene
Rohlfs
Absent: none
Guests: Sheriff Steve Nichols; Steve Siltman; Terry
Storer, Bob Thomas
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Farmer to
approve the minutes from May 1, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to
approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
Old Business: Nothing additional to report.
Mr. Thomas presented the April call report. There were 19
deaths, with three requiring autopsies.
New Business: Nothing additional to report.
A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs to
adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:13
pm.
LOGAN COUNTY AMBULANCE MEETING
Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Kevin Bateman; Gene
Rohlfs
Absent: None
Guests: Sheriff Steve Nichols; Steve Siltman; Terry
Storer, Bob Thomas
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Farmer to
approve the minutes from April, 2014 as printed. Motion passed.
Mr. Siltman presented the April call report. There were 343
calls in May.
Vehicle Status Report - Mr. Siltman reported the new
vehicle is here. The new vehicle was tested by the state and
passed all inspections.
Old Business: Nothing additional to report.
Mr. Siltman reported LCPA has been working hard to make building
improvements. Mr. Siltman would like to hold a Law Enforcement
meeting sometime in the near future to show off the new
improvements.
New Business: Nothing additional to report.

adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:25
pm.
