Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[July 17, 2014]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were mixed at 3.65-3.78.

Soybean bids were down 12 to 15 cents at 12.01-12.28.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were mostly a penny higher at 3.63-3.84.

Soybean bids were 9 to 11 cents lower at 12.27-
12.55.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 1 to 2 cents stronger at 3.76-4.00.

Soybean bids were 10 to 12 cents lower at 12.13-12.40.

Wheat bids were mostly 7 to 8 cents higher at 4.91-5.23 higher.
