[July 21, 2014]  According to Recalls.org, a nonprofit organization, the following recalls were issued by various federal and state agencies during the week ending July 19.

JULY 17 - MOUNTAIN BIKES 

Cycling Sports Group is recalling GT downhill mountain bicycles sold nationwide and in Canada from February 2014 to June 2014. The wheel hubs can break and cause the brake system to fail, posing crash and injury hazards. 

This recall involves all 2014 GT Fury Expert and 2014 GT Fury Team downhill mountain bicycles. The recalled Fury Expert model is blue with red and white accents. The recalled Fury Team model is black with lime green and blue accents. 

Consumers should return the bicycle to the nearest authorized GT dealer to have the complete front and rear wheels replaced free of charge.

USB CAR CHARGERS 

Popkiller is recalling USB car charger adapters, power adapters and 8-pin charger cables sold nationwide from June 2013 to April 2014. Improperly mounted plug blades, and inadequate electronic circuitry create a fire and electrical shock hazards. 

The car charger has model number HHT-001 located on the flat side of the charger below the USB port. The Universal USB Power adapter has model number A1265 printed directly above the plug blades on the grey surface. There is no model number printed on the 8-pin USB charging cables. 

Consumers should return the product to a store where sold or send to Popkiller Headquarters for a full merchandise credit.

JULY 16 - PATIO SETS 

Nantucket Distributing is recalling Resin Wicker Outdoor Patio Set Chairs sold nationwide during March 2014. The rear legs of the chair can break, posing a fall hazard. 

The recall includes Nantucket Distributing resin wicker outdoor patio set chairs.  The chairs were sold with a hang tag with item number RT043SET. 

Consumers should the set or chairs to any Christmas Tree Shops, andThat!, or Christmas Tree Shops andThat! to receive a full refund for the set or $17.50 for each chair.

JULY 15 - LED BULBS 

Halco is recalling ProLED bulbs sold nationwide from June 2009 to March 2014. The LED bulbs can overheat and fall onto consumers below, posing impact and burn hazards. 

This recall involves 14 Halco LED bulb models used in recessed lights, as outdoor security lighting and in retail displays. A complete list can be found at www.recalls.org.

RESISTANCE BANDS 

Bollinger Fitness is recalling Fitness resistance bands with door anchor attachment  sold nationwide and in Canada from July 2012 to March 2014. A black plastic ball attached to the resistance band’s door anchor can unexpectedly release and strike the user, posing an injury hazard. 

This recall involves Bollinger Fitness Classic and SoftTouch resistance bands with door attachment, model numbers 5771, 5772, 5773, 5774 and 5775. The Bollinger Fitness logo appears on the handles. The model number can be found on the product’s packaging.

JULY 14 - PANADOL CAPLETS 

GSK is recalling Panadol Advance® 100 count caplets sold in Puerto Rico from November 2012 to February 2014. The packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. These products contain acetaminophen which is required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act to be sealed with child-resistant packaging. 

This recall involves bottles of 100ct Panadol Advance pain relievers. Lots numbers can be found at www.recalls.org.
