[July 19, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI - Dale A. Boehl, 64, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 12:13 p.m. at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Visitation: Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church .

Service: Friday at 1 p.m. at the church.

Obituary

Mt. Pulaski- Dale A. Boehl- 64, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 12:13 p.m. at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church with Mr. Mark Weber, Rev. Dan Bell, Pastor Rachel Stockle officiating. Military rites will be accorded by the Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post # 447.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Dale A. Boehl was born January 11, 1950 in Canton, Il. The son of Lorenze and Wanda Webb Boehl. He married Priscilla Haley on January 21, 1978 in Mt. Pulaski. She survives.

Also surviving are his children: Cindy (Larry) Conaway of Mt. Pulaski, Julie Shoemaker of California, Vicki (John) Brickey of Lincoln, Shannon (Becky) Boehl of Clinton, Wesley (Sally) Boehl of New York. One sister: Katherine (Bob) DeVore, Larry (Barb) Boehl both of Lincoln, Sister-in-law: Karen Boehl, Stepfather : James Dicks of Lincoln, Step sister: Debra (Jim ) Cummings, Step brothers: Timothy (Kathy) Dicks, Daniel (Janet) Dicks, Theodore (Donna) Dicks. Ten Grandchildren, Eleven great grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Director

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Karl Boehl and great granddaughter Annabelle Phillips.

Dale graduated from the Easton High School. He then served in the United States Army.

He was an Over the Road Truck Driver for over forty years, Driving in every state in the Continental U. S. and Canada. He was currently employed by Crete Shaffer Corp. from Lincoln, NE.

Dale was a member of the Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post # 447and the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church.

His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, Bass Pro Amateur, crafts, reading and western and spending time with his family.

Memorials may be made to his family.

Final Arrangements have been entrusted to Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.
