Each contestant was to start with three piece in front of them.		  

Bill Thomas welcomed the guests and spoke about how the contest would go.
Thomas explained that in honor of Route 66, the contest would last 6:60 minutes.		  

The interpreter then recounted the message in Czechoslovakian.
 
 And they’re off…Pat prefers to eat standing up while Czech competitor Robert likes his pie sitting.
