Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Kenneth J. Granda, 64, of Lincoln, passed away May 29, 2014 in Springfield, IL.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.  Funeral services will also be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Simon officiating.  Burial will flow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.

Kenneth was born September 15, 1949 in Lincoln, IL., the son of Louis Albert Granda and Mary Ellen (Daugherty) Granda.  He married Debra Lee McDaniel  on May 25, 1974 in Lincoln, IL.  

Mr. Granda was previously employed at Lincoln Developmental Center, Meyer’s Industries, and the Bottle Factory in Lincoln, IL.  He was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge 2708 in Lincoln, IL.  He practiced martial arts in his younger years and loved music.  
Kenneth was a loving husband and a proud father and grandfather.  He enjoyed his family more than anything else in the world.  He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.

Surviving are his wife Debra Granda of Lincoln, IL; his children Jeff Granda of Chicago, IL., Sheila Granda of Lincoln, IL., and Jim Granda of Lincoln, IL.; his grandson Zach Ollis;  his siblings Bill (Helen) Granda of Indiana, Gerald Granda of Springfield, IL., Robert Granda of Springfield, IL., and Joan Dieterle of Arizona.

Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home and will be accepted at the funeral home.
