[June 12, 2014]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Highway Department has begun their annual sealcoat operations. This work will be performed on various roads across the county during the summer months. Sealcoat, commonly referred to as oil & chip, is used as preventative maintenance on most of the roads in the county.

Approximately 120 miles of roadway will be seal coated this year within Logan County. Roads may be closed for short amounts of time while the work is being done. Drivers are asked to obey all construction signs to avoid driving through fresh oil.

The public’s cooperation and patience is always appreciated as we maintain our local roads.
