A midday fire on Decatur
Street across from White Auction House brought out the city of
Lincoln Fire Department and Lincoln Rural Fire Department. The fire
appeared to begin in the upstairs living area of a garage type
building. According to neighbors the occupant living in the upstairs
apartment said the room was warm so he turned on the attic fan to
cool it down. Soon after fire broke out. The Lincoln Fire Department
has not yet released any information about the fire.
