Members of the McLean County Antique Auto Club filled downtown Atlanta with their treasured autos. There was plenty of car talk and appreciation by fellow exhibitors and visitors as the car cruise-in ramped up.

Atlanta was cited as a favorite show of the year by a number of the vintage car owners who brought their cars for display.

 

Chuck Legg can eye up a part that has no replacement, weld some parts to something else, such as plumbing pipes or a boat part, and create a substitute that works like the original.

 

He had this beautiful 1906 Ford N on exhibit. It took him three years to restore, finishing in 2006.

Legg  has three other cars at home kept from many that he has restored over the years and has enjoyed seeing the pleasure the cars bring to others. One kids model vehicle brought out the best in an autistic child and he has another in process for kids.

 

Passionate for Ford and restorations, Wilbur Klink is one of those who comes by restoration and mechanic work naturally. As one of six kid's, Klink's talent was recognized and encouraged by his father, who enclosed what was a sandbox for him to work. He had this stunning 1940 Ford pickup on display.
