Logan Ag Flavors brings a taste of Logan County to Lincoln

Sunday afternoon the first ever Logan County AG Flavors Day was held in downtown Lincoln. In spite of the warm weather a good number of folks came in to take in the sites, taste the free samples and learn more about how Logan County Farmers, feed their neighbors and the world.
The event organized by the Logan County Farm Bureau featured a wide variety of booths representing local farms and farmer markets.

The Lincoln Farmers’ Market in Latham Park

 

Vendors representing the Latham Park market included members of the Hum family that started the market more than 50 years ago.

Dennis Tibbs of New Holland, also representing the Latham Park market.
 

Free samples of home made breads.
 



 

Crump Family Gardens were on hand representing the Farmer’s Market in Scully Park.
