The 20-man team from across Illinois will take part in a pre-game dinner courtesy of the White Sox, meet one of the current White Sox players, and will be presented on the foul line of U.S. Cellular Field before the game.

In a letter Lowery received from the IHSBCA it was noted that in reference to the game on July 21st, "It is a great night and a night to recognize your outstanding efforts this season. It was not an easy task to pick these teams and you should be very proud of your efforts."
