[March 03, 2014]  ATLANTA — Lisa A. Kuhlmann, 50, of Atlanta, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at her home.

Atlanta -- Lisa A. Kuhlmann, 50, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Lisa Anne Kuhlmann was born on September 18, 1963, the daughter of Robert A. and Margo Ann McKenna Kuhlmann. She was united in marriage to Brian Adams on August 7, 2010. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother: Margo A. Kuhlmann of Atlanta; her brother: Jeffrey Allen (Julie) Kuhlmann of Fithian; step-daughter: Abigail Adams of Kansas State University; three nephews: Tyler, Trace and Trey; maternal grandmother: Lillian Flory of Florida; Brian's parents: Donna & Larry Maxson of Germantown Hills; brother-in-law: Kenny (Rhuda) Adams of Metamora; sisters-in-law: Mindy (Kenny) Hopp of Washington and Dawn (Charles) Mulligan of Canton; special lifetime friend: Pam Johnson Beach; aunts: Pat (Danny) McGee, Winnie (Peter) Latzke, Jeanne Calvi, and Nancy Kuhlmann; cousins: Scott (Martha), Mark (Selena), Kim (Jeff), Taye (Ronald), Melissa, Jill (Kevin), Mike (Jill), Jenifer (Adam), Jason, and Ryan; many second cousins and Lisa's special pets: Pudge, Chewy, Barney, Chip and Jake.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandfather: William McKenna; paternal grandparents: Anita & Reinhold Kuhlmann; father-in-law: Jack Adams; and uncle: Ronald Kuhlmann.

Funeral Director

Lisa graduated from Olympia High School in 1981.

She had been employed at Hampton Kitchen and Bath and had just completed her 20th year with the United Parcel Service. She was a member of Teamsters Local #710.

She loved her animals, cooking and gardening. She will be dearly missed by all that loved her and knew her.
