[March 05, 2014]  The dancers and pipe band of St. Andrew's Society of Central Illinois with special guests Exorna, a Celtic band playing traditional Celtic music, will give a concert March 21 at Lincoln College in promotion of their world tour. The concert will be at 7 p.m. at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts.

General admission is $10, $7 for seniors and students, and tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds will go to fund St. Andrew's Society's September tour to Ireland and Scotland.

For more information or other concert dates, visit the St. Andrew's Society's Facebook page.

With the activities and efforts of the devoted membership, the St. Andrew's Society helps to inform the public about the traditional aspects of Celtic culture through the demonstration of traditional dance, music and competitive athletic events. The society is a not-for-profit organization, partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council and Springfield Arts Council.
