Lincoln College to host NJCAA regional basketball tournament this weekend

[March 06, 2014]  The NJCAA Region 24 men's basketball tournament pairings were recently released, with all games to be played in the Jack D. Nutt Arena on the campus of Lincoln College. First-round games will begin on Friday, and the championship game will be played on Sunday.

The schedule of games is as follows:

Friday, March 7

• 2 p.m. — No. 4 Illinois Central vs. No. 5 Parkland

• 4 p.m. — No. 2 John Wood vs. No. 7 Lincoln Land

• 6 p.m. — No. 3 Lincoln vs. No. 6 Danville

Saturday, March 8

• 1 p.m. — No. 1 Rend Lake vs. winner of ICC/Parkland

• 3 p.m. — Winner of John Wood/LLCC vs. winner of LC/Danville

Sunday, March 9

• 2 p.m. — Championship game

Tickets: General admission tickets will be $5 per person, or a three-day pass can be purchased for $10.
