Virginia R. Prunty, 83, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at
10:55 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

LINCOLN-Virginia R. Prunty, 83, of Lincoln passed
away at 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
Virginia was born on October 19, 1930 in Lincoln,
daughter of Paul O. and Mary Virginia Pegram
Williamson. She was united in marriage to Robert L.
Prunty on April 16, 1950 in Lincoln at the First
United Methodist Church. He survives her in Lincoln.
Other survivors include her son: Tom (Michelle)
Prunty of Aurora, IL and children Tom and Sarah; and
special friend Patty Czajkowski of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist
Church in Lincoln. She worked as a secretary for
Albert Brothers and she was a homemaker.
Cremation rites were accorded. Memorial services for
Virginia will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March
8, 2014 at First United Methodist Church with Rev.
Michael Paulsen officiating. A visitation will be
held from 9:30-11 A.M. before the service at the
Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the Alzheimer's Association.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
