Benefit this weekend for Teresa Rekart

[March 05, 2014]  On Saturday there will be a midday benefit for Teresa Rekart at the Lincoln VFW Freedom Hall.
A chili cheeseburger meal will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the day there will also be a bake sale, silent auction and 50-50 drawing. Entertainment will be provided by Wolf Karaoke.

When Teresa suffered numerous complications from surgery, she had to have two hip replacement surgeries and was incapacitated for quite some time. She lost her job and consequently her health benefits. The money raised Saturday will go to the Rekart family to assist with medical bills, prescriptions and other necessities.
