City seeks applicants for Ward 1 alderman vacancy

[March 18, 2014]  Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder announced that he is seeking letters of interest and resumes from Lincoln residents who are interested in filling the Ward 1 aldermanic seat that has been created by Bruce Carmitchel's recent resignation.

Anyone interested in the position must reside in the city's 1st Ward. A map of Ward 1 and all of the other city wards is available on the City Government page of the city's website.

Letters of interest and a resume should be mailed to the attention of Mayor Keith Snyder at City Hall, 700 Broadway, Lincoln, IL 62656; or emailed to the mayor's attention at [e-mail]. All materials need to be submitted by the end of the business day on Monday, March 24.
