Mount Pulaski wins 7-1A volleyball state championship

[March 19, 2014]  MOUNT PULASKI — Mount Pulaski is celebrating today, too. During championship play at Pawnee Junior/Senior High School, the seventh-grade girls volleyball team took first in Class 1A at state on Tuesday evening. Scoring 22-25, 25-10, 25-17 took the title, with Lovejoy as runner-up, Peoria Limestone Walters taking third and Cissna Park coming in fourth place.

The Mount Pulaski team is coached by Donna Dulle and had a final win-loss record of 17-11-0.
