[March 20, 2014]  STANFORD — Olympia High School senior Drew Stribling signed his letter of intent this week to play men's basketball at Lincoln Christian University.

Stribling averaged 14 points per game and shot 83 percent from the free-throw line in his senior year at Olympia High School.

Mac Ingmire, LCU athletic director and head coach for men's basketball, believes Stribling will be able to contribute as a shooting guard in the 2014-15 season. Stribling has attended LCU's summer basketball camps for the last six years, so the coaching staff and returning players are familiar with his work ethic and development.

Ingmire was very happy about Stribling's signing.

"I'm excited to be able to sign Drew," he said. "I've known Drew for the last four years and have wanted him to come to LCU for a while. His character, knowledge and work attitude are exactly what I want representing our program. I expect Drew to be important to our success over the next four years."
